| I just got this item today, and it's exactly what I wanted. It's a handsome slim leather case that flips open easily. Once open, the entire screen and side+top buttons are easily accessible. Even when closed, the USB port and earphone jack are exposed. The case makes the unit quite a bit thicker, but I don't mind that at all. Now I can let the IpodTouch 2G live in my pocket with loose coins without fear of any damage, and when in use the leather gives it a nice secure feel. This is a really excellent solution to protecting the Ipod. |

So about a week or so before I bought this case I also bought one at the Apple store when I bought the iPod Touch 2G, that case was a mistake and expensive as well (Buy in haste, repent at leisure.).
In frustration I was making do with an old cell phone case when I found this, oh happy day!
It was less than 1/3 of the price of the other case ( And I'm still kicking myself for not checking out Amazon resellers first. ) and what I wanted in the first place.
I don't know when these will be back in stock but if you get the chance buy one!
Get a screen guard if you must, I don't find one necessary, but this case is the "really works and looks good" deal at a price you can afford.

| I've only just recieved this case but for what I wanted, a case to protect the iPod Touch while in my pocketbook or pocket, it's perfect. It looks handsome, seems well constructed, and is exactly what I needed. I can not say how it will perform over time because I just recieved it, but for now, it's excellent. It also has openings so that all the ports and buttons are excesable. I've ordered two more for my grand children for christmas. |

| This is the perfect case for the 2nd Gen ipod touch. The case is real leather. It has openings in all of the right places so you can charge, plug in the headphones, control the volume, etc. without taking the ipod out of the case. The touch fits snuggly and will not slip out. The closure is a snap button closure. It is not magnetic. This really is a great deal and the case comes in so many different colors (though I got black). |
